The ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Weekly Gridded Atmosphere, Version 2 (ATL16) data set from the Ice, Cloud, and land Elevation Satellite-2 (ICESat-2) mission is now available at NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set contains gridded global cloud fraction, total column optical depth over the oceans, polar cloud fraction, blowing snow frequency, apparent surface reflectivity, and ground detection frequency. ATL16 is gridded weekly on a 2° x 2° grid. The files contain gridded 2D arrays plus images of the data fields plotted on a map of the region.
