New data set released: ICESat-2 L4 Monthly Gridded Sea Ice Thickness Version 1

The ICESat-2 L4 Monthly Gridded Sea Ice Thickness, Version 1 (IS2SITMOGR4) data set from the Ice, Cloud, and land Elevation Satellite-2 (ICESat-2) mission is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set reports monthly, gridded winter sea ice thickness in the Arctic. Sea ice thickness is estimated using ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3A Sea Ice Freeboard (ATL10), Version 4 freeboard data and NASA Eulerian Snow On Sea Ice Model (NESOSIM) snow depth. Data are gridded at 25 km resolution using the NSIDC Sea Ice Polar Stereographic North Projection. Data set DOI: https://doi.org/10.5067/CV6JEXEE31HF
