Data set update: ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3A Along Track Inland Surface Water Data, Version 4 (ATL13)

The ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3A Along Track Inland Surface Water Data, Version 4 (ATL13) data set from the Ice, Cloud, and land Elevation Satellite-2 (ICESat-2) mission is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC).

In addition to algorithm updates, Version 4 of this data set includes a change to the data set title. This data set contains along-track water surface heights and statistics for inland water bodies. Water bodies include lakes, reservoirs, bays, estuaries and rivers. Statistics include along-track surface slope (where data permit), mean and standard deviation, subsurface signal (532 nm) attenuation, wave height, and coarse depth to bottom topography.

Data access and documentation, including a list of changes in the Version 4 data set, is available on the ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3A Along Track Inland Surface Water Data, Version 4 (ATL13) data set landing page.
