User notice: SMAP data reprocessing

The SMAP Standard and Near Real-Time data sets, available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), experienced a geolocation issue from 14 May 2026 to 28 July 2026. All Standard products for that time period are currently being reprocessed and will be replaced in the coming weeks. Near Real-Time products will not be replaced.
