The Calibrated Enhanced-Resolution Passive Microwave Daily EASE-Grid 2.0 Brightness Temperature ESDR, Version 2 data set, available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), has been updated to include all Scanning Multichannel Microwave Radiometer (SMMR) data (1978-1987), all Special Sensor Microwave/Imager (SSM/I) data (1987-2009), and all Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer - Earth Observing System (AMSR-E) data (2002-2011). This data product is gridded to three EASE-Grid 2.0 projections (North Azimuthal, South Azimuthal, and Cylindrical) and includes both enhanced-resolution imagery and coarse-resolution, averaged imagery.
Version 1 of the Calibrated Enhanced-Resolution Passive Microwave Daily EASE-Grid 2.0 Brightness Temperature ESDR will be retired on April 20th, 2026.
