Version 6 of ATLAS/ICESat-2 L2A Normalized Relative Backscatter Profiles (ATL04), ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3A Land Ice Height (ATL06), ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3A Land and Vegetation Height (ATL08), ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3A Calibrated Backscatter Profiles and Atmospheric Layer Characteristics (ATL09), and ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3A Along Track Inland Surface Water Data (ATL13) will be retired from the NSIDC DAAC on 2 March 2026. Upon retirement, data will no longer be accessible, but all related documentation will remain available on the data set web page for future reference. We recommend using the latest version of this data set, found under “more recent version” link on the web page.
