Erika Schreiber
About Erika
Erika Schreiber's research focuses on investigating the impacts of synoptic-scale cyclones on Arctic sea ice. In addition to Arctic climate, other areas of interest include climate change, earth system interactions (particularly with the cryosphere), remote sensing, and climate modeling. I also have interests in science communication and policy.

Impacts of synoptic-scale cyclones on Arctic sea-ice concentration: a systematic analysis: The role of synoptic-scale cyclones in the trends and variability of Arctic sea ice conditions has remained uncertain. In recognition, we conducted a systematic investigation of how sea-ice concentration (SIC) changes with cyclone passage, including all individual storms that pass over any part of the region's ice pack. Results were published in Annals of Glaciology.
