Dear GLIMS colleagues,
A GLIMS Mini-Workshop has been scheduled for the Marriott, Sierra I
conference room, on Sunday, December 12 from 1:00 pm until 5:30 pm, in
downtown San Francisco just prior to the Fall meeting of the American
Geophysical Union. The room has a capacity for 20 attendees at a U-shaped
conference table. Equipment will be available for powerpoint and old-style
transparency presentations. If you anticipate being present, please send
me your indication of interest, and if you intend to make a GLIMS-related
presentation, please provide me with a title and a request for an amount of
time (perhaps 5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes). As we have some room and
equipment and catering costs, we will ask that participants provide a
registration fee (aproximately $10 U.S., cash only), payable at the meeting
(a signed receipt will be provided).
Sincerely,
Jeff K
