Field data from the Soil Moisture Active Passive Validation Experiment 2016 Manitoba (SMAPVEX16 Manitoba) validation campaign are now available at the National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). The new data set, that contains in situ measurements of soil moisture and bulk density, is the first of many for the SMAPVEX16 Manitoba campaign. Though minimal information is presently available, the data set is available as an early release.
