[GLIMS] Improvements in GLIMS data access

Hi all,

We have made some improvements in the system for accessing GLIMS data:

- When downloading data from GLIMS, the package now includes (when present
   for selected glaciers):

     - more data:  all "line" types of data, such as snow lines and
       center lines; uncertainty values for polygon vertices; information on
       base imagery; hypsometry (glacier area-elevation histograms)

     - improved documentation on the downloaded files

     - bug fixes:  downloaded "tar" format file now has ".tgz" extension,
       not ".zip"; download ID number in downloaded file now matches that in
       unpacked directory (folder); website now works with HTTPS as well as
       HTTP.

- Lists of collaborators made more functional (e.g.
   http://www.glims.org/maps/collaborators.html)


More improvements are in the works, so stay tuned.
