[GLIMS] GLIMS Update: GLIMS Book update: bibliographic citation, date, IPCC listing

Dear GLIMS colleagues:
Many of you are preparing bibliographic listings for the IPCC AR5 (listings are due tomorrow).  For those of you not engaged in that process, don't worry about it now.  The GLIMS chapters are accepted (except for the 3 last ones), even if some of you have a few minor issues to resolve.  This is what I have from the publisher regarding the citation:
Author, X.Y., I.Q. Author, and A.B. Author, CHAPTER TITLE, in: Global Land Ice Measurements from Space, J.S. Kargel, G.J. Leonard, M.P. Bishop, A. Kääb, and B. Raup (Editors), Praxis-Springer (Publishers), Heidelberg (2013), ISBN: 978-3-540-79817-0.
The chief editor at Praxis, Clive Horwood, says: "Assuming that we have all chapters ready to go through copy editing in August, we should be able to generate a pdf to go to Springer by November, allowing good time for checking and indexing of the work. This should allow Springer to publish by Spring 2013.  Although Praxis has been involved from the outset, the precise wording of the citation is at the discretion of Springer. It is Springer Heidelberg who are the originating publishers, so I have therefore copied in Christian Witschel, editorial director of the Springer Geosciences Group, based in Heidelberg, so that he can make a decision on that."
Hence, the phrasing of the publisher name may change, as Clive Horwood says, but until I hear otherwise, this is how I will be citing the book and chapters.
So the book will be published by spring 2013.  I don't know if that is close enough to the March 15, 2013 deadline imposed by IPCC to warrant listing with IPCC AR5.  I will not be making the listings, but I leave it to each of you who are involved with a chapter, have a PDF to file with the responsible office at IPCC, and have been working with the IPCC AR5 and know what to do to make a listing.  I am reviewing but not authoring IPCC work.
