Level of service update: High Mountain Asia GFDL FLOR Modeled Extreme Precipitation Indices

The High Mountain Asia GFDL FLOR Modeled Extreme Precipitation Indices, Version 1 data set has been updated from a basic to a standard level of service at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set contains seven standard annual mean extreme precipitation indices related to landslide activity. These data are derived from a Global Climate Model (GCM), specifically the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (GFDL) Forecast-oriented Low Ocean Resolution of the CM2.5 (CM2.5-FLOR or FLOR) model modeled precipitation estimates and cover the Himalayan region at a spatial resolution of 0.625º x 0.5º.
