<P DEFANGED_STYLE="MARGIN: 1px 3px"><FONT face=Arial size=2>The 2006 GLIMS workshop will
be held in New Zealand from<STRONG> 6-10 February 2006</STRONG>. This workshop
will be run in conjunction with New Zealand's Snow and Ice Research Group (SIRG)
workshop, which will offer us an enlightening view on local research.This
workshop will serve as a venue for presentation of science results and
discussion of any concerns by GLIMS members and others in the glaciological
community. In addition, we will pursue the final organization and writing of
chapters for a technical book on the topic of Global Land Ice Measurements from
Space (provisional publisher is Praxis-Springer).<BR></FONT></P>
