[GLIMS] Addendum: GLIMS End-of-year (plus a bit) summary

Hi again,

Jeff Kargel adds something I accidentally left out:

- We influenced the Landsat Next (Landsat 10) design to include dedicated
   sensor bands for ice, snow, and water mapping within and bracketing
   discrete absorption bands of frozen and liquid H₂O (the first ever for
   any orbital multispectral imager).

- Discussions are underway to add stereo imaging capability.
