[GLIMS] server maintenance at NSIDC

Hi all,

Early Sunday morning a vehicle struck a utility pole and cut power to the 
part of Boulder where NSIDC is, resulting in downed servers.  The systems 
people are continuing to fix a few issues that resulted from this, so 
there may be some more downtime still today.  Sorry about the 
inconvenience.  We have back-up power here, but the batteries aren't 
designed to last through a holiday 3-day weekend (yesterday was Labor Day 
in the US).
