This workshop will be held in Chamonix at ENSA,
l'École Nationale de Ski et d'Alpinisme, located in the
downtown area. Information on ENSA may be obtained at their
website in French, English, Spanish, and German:

LODGING
Those still requiring lodging reservation are advised to
follow the link on the IGS Symposium page,
http://www-lgge.ujf-grenoble.fr/igs-cham2002/accommodation.html
or through www.chamonix.com

Inexpensive dormitory-style lodging is possible for the
workshop and preceding IGS Symposium but only if you contact
me with your request immediately. If this information arrives
later than 9 a.m. Arizona time Friday, it is doubtful that you
will be able to obtain such lodging, but you can try by contacting
ENSA directly (please be prepared to speak French). Your
alternative will be to take lodging at any of a variety of
2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-star hotels.

AUDIO-VISUAL EQUIPMENT
The lecture room is equipped with two overhead projectors, one
slide projector and one PC/Video projector.

PC/Video projections: using your personal computer, authors must
bring, install and test their own computer (Laptop/MAC) and
software before the beginning of their respective session.
Four independent laptop/MAC computers (with their own power
and monitor cables) can be connected to the beamer and
switched one after another just before the actual presentation
starts. The Laptops/MACs should be installed before the session
starts, in the order of presentation in the session, and be
removed only after the session has ended.

REGISTRATION
Registration will be on site. We will charge a small
registration fee to cover the meeting facilities, equipment,
and refreshment breaks.

INQUIRIES: Can be made to Jeff Kargel. Contact information
at the end of this message.

AGENDA
The agenda below is preliminary. Additional attendees are
welcome, but please inform Jeff Kargel by email as soon as
possible if you plan to attend. Additional short presentations
are solicited on the theme of glacier change measurements using
remote sensing or field validation of remote sensing measurements
of glaciers (typically 10 min. for add-ons).
