Dear GLIMS colleagues:


Those of you listed on my account
giving you access to ASTER data at no cost have received or will receive the
annual May notice that your account will expire in about 60 days.  If you
are already listed and receive this notice, just forward me your email, which
will have the subject line something like "Your
ASTER No-Charge Account Expires in 60 days", and it should be sent to me
from the email address under which your no-cost ASTER subaccount is registered.  As I accumulate your notices, then ?I will forward to lpdaac several batches of names/email addresses for re-listing, as has been the annual requirement. 
If you are not listed for access to ASTER at no cost, and if you are actively engaged in glacier analysis and want to be listed (and importantly: it is obligatory that you provide analysis results to the GLIMS glacier database-- this is a condition under which you have been or will be approved for access to ASTER data at no cost)-- then please send me this information:  Family name  Given name  Institution mailing address  Email address under which your account will be listed  Telephone number  Geographic region(s) of interest  Approximate number of scenes needed/estimated
