This data set provides a water budget reanalysis for the High Mountain Asia (HMA) region from 2003 to 2020.
The Near Real-time SMAP L1B Radiometer Half-Orbit Time-Ordered Brightness Temperatures, Version 105 and Near Real-time SMAP L2 Radiometer Half-Orbit 36 km EASE-Grid Soil Moisture, Version 107 data sets, accessible through the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), have been experiencing a data outage since 2023-11-26.
The Pre-IceBridge LVIS L0 Raw Ranges, Version 1 data set, will be retired from the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) on 30 November 2023. After this date, access to the data will no longer be available, but the data set documentation will remain available for future reference.   Access to the documentation is provided on the data set web page at the NSIDC DAAC: https://nsidc.org/data/blvis0/versions/1
Version 5 of multiple ATLAS/ICESat-2 along-track data sets will be retired from the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) on 19 December 2023.
The DMSP SSM/I-SSMIS Daily Polar Gridded Brightness Temperatures, Version 6 data set, accessible through the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), has been updated through 5 October 2023. This data set provides daily gridded brightness temperatures derived from passive microwave sensors and distributed in a polar stereographic projection.
NOAA@NSIDC is pleased to announce that the Rutgers Northern Hemisphere 24 km Weekly Snow Cover Extent, September 1980 Onward, Version 1 data set, accessible through the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC), has been updated to include the 2023 water year. The data record now extends to 02 October 2023. This data set provides weekly snow cover extent for the Northern Hemisphere in NetCDF format beginning September 1980.
