The MEaSUREs ITS_LIVE Landsat Image-Pair Glacier and Ice Sheet Surface Velocities, Version 1 and MEaSUREs ITS_LIVE Regional Glacier and Ice Sheet Surface Velocities, Version 1 data sets, are now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). These datasets consist of glacier and ice sheet surface velocities generated from Landsat 4, 5, 7, and 8 imagery. The image-pair ice velocity data set is provided at 240 m resolution and covers all land areas larger than 5 km2. It is also used to create the regional data set, which consists of annual mean surface velocities at 120/240 m resolution for select glacier-covered regions. These data sets are produced under the Making Earth System Data Records for Use in Research Environments (MEaSUREs) Program.
