NSIDC produces AMSR-E gridded brightness temperature data by interpolating AMSR-E data (6.9 GHz, 10.7 GHz, 18.7 GHz, 23.8 GHz, 36.5 GHz, and 89.0 GHz) to the output grids from swath space using an Inverse Distance Squared (ID2) method. AMSR-E/Aqua L2A Global Swath Spatially-Resampled Brightness Temperatures (AE_L2A) input source data are used.

These data are provided in three EASE-Grid projections (north and south Lambert azimuthal and global cylindrical) at 25 km resolution, and in one global cylindrical, equidistant latitude-longitude projection at 0.25 degree (quarter-degree) resolution.
<Related_URL><URL_Content_Type><Type>VIEW RELATED INFORMATION</Type></URL_Content_Type>

AMSR-E/Aqua Daily EASE-Grid Brightness Temperatures, Version 1 User Guide
</Related_URL><Related_URL><URL_Content_Type><Type>GET DATA</Type></URL_Content_Type>

HTTPS
</Related_URL><Related_URL><URL_Content_Type><Type>VIEW RELATED INFORMATION</Type></URL_Content_Type>

AMSR-E/Aqua L2A Global Swath Spatially-Resampled Brightness Temperatures (Tb)
</Related_URL><Related_URL><URL_Content_Type><Type>VIEW RELATED INFORMATION</Type></URL_Content_Type>

EASE-Grid Data
</Related_URL><Related_URL><URL_Content_Type><Type>VIEW RELATED INFORMATION</Type></URL_Content_Type>

DMSP SSM/I Pathfinder Daily EASE-Grid Brightness Temperatures
</Related_URL><Related_URL><URL_Content_Type><Type>VIEW RELATED INFORMATION</Type></URL_Content_Type>

Nimbus-7 SMMR Pathfinder Daily EASE-Grid Brightness Temperatures
</Related_URL><Related_URL><URL_Content_Type><Type>VIEW RELATED INFORMATION</Type></URL_Content_Type>

AMSR-E/Aqua Daily Global Quarter-Degree Gridded Brightness Temperatures
</Related_URL><Metadata_Name>CEOS IDN DIF</Metadata_Name><Metadata_Version>VERSION 9.9</Metadata_Version><DIF_Creation_Date>2006-12-08</DIF_Creation_Date><Last_DIF_Revision_Date>2026-03-03</Last_DIF_Revision_Date><Extended_Metadata><Metadata><Group>NSIDC</Group>
<Value>Initial Release</Value></Metadata><Metadata><Group>NSIDC</Group>
<Value/></Metadata><Metadata><Group>NSIDC</Group>
<Value>1</Value></Metadata><Metadata><Group>NSIDC</Group>
<Value>Knowles, K., Savoie, M., Armstrong, R. & Brodzik, M.
