About Doug
Doug Young is a data systems specialist with 20 years experience designing computer infrastructure for NSIDC. As the Technical Service Group Manager, Young manages a group of technical support specialists focusing on database administration, operations support, and network security administration. He also investigates new technology products for emerging trends in the industry, making recommendations for best fit for NSIDC. Young is a member of the NSIDC leadership team where he represents the needs of the technical support group and helps develop and execute strategic objectives.
