Kara Csibrik

Kara Gergely is a Data Product and Project Team Lead at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC).  She supports the NSIDC DAAC mission to steward NASA Earth science data and make it discoverable, accessible, and usable through leading data publication activities and projects in support of data management activities.

With a strong background in user needs and support Kara ensures data products are ingested, archived, and distributed according to current NASA and NSIDC DAAC standards. A particular focus is establishing workflows to ensure these standards are met consistently across all DAAC data publication activities.  She also works to Identify opportunities for improvements in stewardship practices and coordinates implementation into publication workflows and data management activities.
