A new data set is available at NSIDC, the Enhanced-Resolution SSM/I and AMSR-E Daily Polar Brightness Temperatures.
NSIDC is pleased to announce that the DMSP SSM/I-SSMIS Daily Polar Gridded Brightness Temperatures data set has been updated to include data through 31 March 2011.
Brightness Temperatures from the F17 satellite are now available for the DMSP SSM/I-SSMIS Polar Gridded Brightness Temperatures data set, and span the period 14 December 2006 through 19 August 2010.
The DMSP SSM/I daily, polar gridded brightness temperatures now extend through 29 April 2009.
Processing of some SSM/I data is temporarily suspended due to the recent loss of the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) F-13 satellite.
NSIDC has recently updated the Sea Ice Concentrations from Nimbus-7 SMMR and SSM/I DMSP Passive Microwave Data – Preliminary, and the Near-Real-Time DMSP SSM/I Daily Polar Gridded Sea Ice Concentrations.
