Resource Center
The ARC Resource Center serves as a resource for information related to Earth's frozen regions, providing research materials and reference services for researchers at NSIDC, at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and the general public.
The collection contains information spanning more than a century of research in the fields of glaciology, snow and ice, polar exploration, frozen ground, and climatology, in various languages and in a variety of formats, including rare materials found in only a few institutions in the world. It contains over 44,000 monographs, serials, journal articles, reprints, videos, maps, atlases and CD-ROMs. We currently receive over 40 periodicals and newsletters relating to the cryosphere and to the remote sensing of ice and snow.
The Resource Center is staffed by professional librarians who can help you with your questions and information searches. See the ARC catalog to search for items in the collection.
