Dear GLIMS colleagues,

Please inform any potentially interested grad students or imminent grad
students in NASA's offering of competitive Earth System Science Graduate
Fellowships. New proposals are due 1 February, 2006, and are not limited to
proposals by U.S. citizens or residents, though priority is given to them.

It would appear that strong, appropriately scoped proposals pertaining to
remote sensing of glacier-related hazards, water management, or climate
variability may be considered favorably.

Potential mentors/advisors are encouraged to make students aware of this
offering, and interested students are encouraged to contact potential
faculty advisors/mentors directly if they have somebody in mind. Potential
faculty/advisors in search of eligible/qualified students, or students in
search of an advisor, may submit their names, email addresses, phone
numbers, and institutions, with or without a one line description of a
possible project. Submit to me and I will see that they are posted on the
GLIMS website.
