Hello Any and All,

This inquiry was received from David Thompson, and others of you may be
wondering the same.

In fact, I am charged with writing a draft of an article to EOS, and that
draft is to be circulated for comments. I have just gotten my head above
water since the Zurich meeting in August, and I am finally onto the task,
which should not take long.

By the way, the latest official word is that ASTER's launch aboard Terra is
scheduled for December 1-3, but unofficial rumors say that it will be more
like December 9 due to another rocket being on the launch pad. Fueling
either has started or is soon to begin, so they're getting serious about a
launch.
