CU Announces Climate Change Symposium
On August 22 and 23, the University of Colorado at Boulder will present, “Meeting the Global Energy and Climate Challenge.” The symposium will bring together scientists, energy researchers, education specialists, and journalists to discuss the science behind climate change and its impact on public policy.
The Saturday afternoon sessions include a panel discussion featuring Konrad Steffen, the director of NSIDC’s parent institution, the Cooperative Institute in Environmental Sciences (CIRES). The panel will discuss the science behind climate change. The two-day symposium, which is open to the public, features panel discussions and presentations concerning climate change, renewable energy, and carbon emission reduction.
