7 May 2007A New Look for nsidc.orgWe have changed our online look, as part of an ongoing project to make our site easier to navigate. Our data, information, and services are the same, but we hope our new Web site design will help you more easily locate what you need. Looks, labels, and menusThe NSIDC site has a new appearance that makes navigation options, and the contents of our site, easier to find and understand. The site's main navigation, across the top of every page, now features "roll over" menus. If you place your mouse pointer over one of the menu items, the contents of that menu are displayed. You will see each section's contents and can get there with fewer clicks. New options on the "Data" menu help you locate data-related topics. "The Cryosphere" is now the "Education Center"In the Education Center, you will find information and resources for learning about snow, ice, glaciers, sea ice, and more. We've also added a new page, All About the Cryosphere, introducing the frozen places that make up the Earth's cryosphere.
