Travel

Limited travel funds are available for student participation. We anticipate that approximately six students from national or international schools can receive airfare support. If you would like to recommend a student for travel support or would like to request it, please indicate that in your registration.

Attendees should fly into Denver International Airport (DIA), which is about 45 miles from Boulder. Visit DIA's Ground Transportation site.

The Boulder Super Shuttle departs from the airport every hour at 10 minutes past the hour from 6:10 am to 11:10 pm. The cost is $20 one-way, $38 round trip. Group discounts are available. Stop at the shuttle ticket counter to purchase tickets and they will let you know where the shuttle departs (Departure location changes because of construction at DIA.). Lodging

Lodging for attendees will be at the Millennium Harvest House hotel, which is within walking distance of both NSIDC and the Folsom Stadium meeting venues. A block of 40 rooms at a rate of $105 per night plus taxes, including a breakfast buffet, is currently being held for the meeting attendees. The phone number for the in-house reservation department at the Millennium Harvest House is 1-800-545-6285 (Monday-Friday between 8:30am and 8:00pm). 

These rooms will only be held until April 21, 2006. Attendees are responsible for booking their rooms. State that you are attending the "IPY-APCV workshop" to receive the reduced rate. Other than a University of Colorado meeting discount, no financial support will be offered for lodging. The Millennium Harvest House is the site of the meeting dinner on Monday evening, which is covered by registration funds.

Registration Fee

The registration fee of $60 is payable in US cash or check at registration on May 14 or May 15. This fee covers snacks, lunches, and materials provided at the workshop.

Meeting Facilities

The main meeting will be in the conference hall at the University of Colorado Folsom Stadium. Coffee and snacks at breaks and lunches will be served at the venue during the meeting. Sunday evening's activities will be held at NSIDC.

The University of Colorado campus, NSIDC, and the stadium venue are fully accessible to people with disabilities.
