Collection Caster ToolThe Libre project created the Collection Caster Web-based tool to help you create Atom feeds and share them with the scientific community. Collection casting is a process that helps you advertise your data sets so users and computers on the internet discover your data quickly and more efficiently. Collection casting uses Atom technology, which means that your Collection Cast or feed can be viewed with any desktop or browser-based feed reader.
You can automate the features of the Collection Caster Tool for all your data by using the Collection Caster Application Programming Interface (API).

nsidc.org OpenSearch APIThe nsidc.org OpenSearch API provides a simple way to discover and access NSIDC's data holdings that are hosted through Searchlight. We support two levels of the OpenSearch API: Data Set and Granule. Use the Data Set OpenSearch API to search for data sets that fulfill your search criteria, or use the Granule OpenSearch API to search for data meeting your search criteria for a particular data set.
