NSIDC data is longer be available on the EOS Data Gateway (EDG).
NSIDC data is available from the Warehouse Inventory Search Tool (WIST) at http://wist.echo.nasa.gov

Data from the Alaska Satellite Facility is no longer available from EDG.
Beginning 8 October 2008, Land Processes DAAC data will no longer be available from EDG.
Beginning 24 October 2008, ASDC data will no longer be available from EDG.

    Alerts
    • ASF:
       ASF will remove all of its datasets from the EDG on August 15, 2008 with the completion of WIST user migration. At that time all ASF users should be using WIST. If you have questions or concerns, please contact ASF.
    • JPL:
       PODAAC valids are only in EDG. They are not available in WIST/ECHO yet.
    • LARC:
       LaRC data will be removed from the EDG late October. Contact Langley ASDC User Services for assistance, larc@eos.nasa.gov.
    • LP DAAC:
       LP DAAC will remove all of its datasets from the EDG on October 8, 2008 with the completion of WIST user migration. At that time all LP DAAC users should be using WIST. If you have questions or concerns, please contact LP DAAC User Services.
    • NSIDC:
       NSIDC data is no longer available through the EDG. Please order AMSR-E, ICESat/GLAS, MODIS, or NISE data from WIST (http://wist.echo.nasa.gov).
NSIDC Status:

Please note: MODIS, NISE, GLAS, and AMSR-E data are unavailable from NSIDC during our scheduled
down time, Tuesday mornings from 9am to 11am (MDT).
