Please note: The Warehouse Inventory Search Tool (WIST) is replacing the EOS Data Gateway (EDG). Beginning 25 June 2008, NSIDC requests that Registered Users migrate their user account(s) to WIST. To do this, please enter EDG as a registered user to begin the migration process. NSIDC data will no longer be available in EDG beginning 28 July 2008.

EDG Registered users: If you have forgotten or misplaced your EDG password, NSIDC recommends you go straight to WIST and "Create Account". http://wist.echo.nasa.gov

EDG Guest users: At this time we recommend all orders be placed through WIST. http://wist.echo.nasa.gov

       As of 28 July 2008, NSIDC data will no longer be available through the EDG. After this date NSIDC data will be available through WIST at http://wist.echo.nasa.gov

      The LaRC EDG is unavailable between 12PM on July 18th and 6AM EDT on July 20th for placing orders or retrieving data. If you have any questions, please contact the Langley ASDC User Services Office via e-mail, larc@eos.nasa.gov.

      NSIDC DAAC will not be able to accept requests for inventory or orders of our AMSR-E, ICESat/GLAS, MODIS, or NISE data holdings during the specified time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers. Please contact NSIDC User Services for more information.
NSIDC Status:

Please note: MODIS, NISE, GLAS, and AMSR-E data are unavailable from NSIDC during our scheduled
down time, Tuesday mornings from 9am to 11am (MDT).
