Subsetting Preferences

Please request small subsets only! If you have a large data request, please order the data from the Warehouse Inventory Search Tool (WIST) instead. Please note that NSIDC staff must review each order before subsetting data, which may result in a short delay in processing your order.

The following products are currently available for subsetting. The three-digit number following the period is the release number (for example, 031 is Release-31). See the Release Schedule for the temporal coverage of each release. You will not be able to choose a specific release; you will receive all publicly available data for your selected time period, which may include multiple releases and laser campaigns.

* Please complete one of the subsetting options below.

Option 1: Single subset

Enter your bounding coordinates in decimal degrees.
Valid latitude ranges are -90.0 to 90.0. Valid longitude ranges are -180.0 to 180.0.
Use a negative sign for Southern and Western Hemispheres.

  Northernmost latitude

Westernmost longitude
  Easternmost longitude
  Southernmost latitude

Option 2: Multiple subsets

IMPORTANT! Bounding coordinates must be entered below in the following manner, otherwise your order will fail.

Example:

-90.0, 20.3, -80.0, 30.5
30.0, -45.0, 45.0, -30.0
65.0, 120.0, 89.0, 150.0

Bounding coordinates

Enter start and stop dates and times for your subset.
*Start date and time (yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss)
*End date and time (yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss)
