This data set consists of two digital image maps for Greenland: the 2005 MOG Surface Morphology Image Map and the 2005 MOG Grain Size Image Map. The image maps are constructed from MODIS imagery acquired during 2005 and provide nearly cloud-free views of all land areas and islands larger than a few hundred meters, including the ice caps on Baffin Island, Devon Island, Axel Heiberg Island, and Ellesmere Island.
