NetCDF Resources at NSIDC |
Network Common Data Form (NetCDF) files are a standard for the exchange of scientific data in binary format that are platform independent and self-describing (files contain a header and file metadata in the form of name/value attributes). This file format was developed by the Unidata project at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR).
