On Wednesday, January 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (USA Mountain Time) AMSR-E, Aquarius, IceBridge, ICESat/GLAS, MODIS, NISE, and SMAP data will not be available for ordering due to system maintenance.

Access to data via FTP for this data set will no longer be available after January 31, 2017. The NASA NSIDC DAAC is transitioning to data distribution through HTTPS, which requires users to login with an Earthdata Login username and password. Data will continue to be available free of charge.

DOWNLOADING DATA VIA FTP

Data can be downloaded through a Web browser or command line via FTP. When using a Web browser, the FTP link first directs you to an Optional Registration Form that if filled out, will allow you to receive notifications about updates or processing changes related to that specific data set. After completing the Optional Registration Form, the FTP directory becomes available. IceBridge Snow Radar L1B Geolocated Radar Echo Strength Profiles, Version 2

This data set contains radar echograms taken from the Center for Remote Sensing of Ice Sheets (CReSIS) ultra wide-band snow radar over land and sea ice in the Arctic and Antarctic. The data were collected as part of Operation IceBridge funded campaigns.

Version Summary:

Version 2 data are in netCDF format beginning with the 2009 Greenland campaign.
