Four groups of borehole files are presented:
1. Boreholes at three sites (with sand surface, natural surface, and near a sand dune) at 66 Road Station on Qinghai-Xizang (Tibet) Plateau (GGD16):

Data file 66hms.dat: Temperature measured to depth of 17.5 meters on 5 July 1995, 28 September 1995. Borehole in area with natural ground conditions at No. 66 Station, Qingzang Road. Approximate location: 34 deg 50 min N, 92 deg 40 min E.
Data file 66hms2.dat: Temperature measured to depth of 17.5 meters on 5 July 1995, 28 September 1995. Borehole in area covered by sand at No. 66 Station, Qingzang Road. Approximate location: 34 deg 50 min N, 92 deg 40 min E.
2. Borehole temperatures at Borehole CK123, Qinghai-Xizang (Tibet) Plateau (GGD018):
Data file ck123.dat: Temperature measured to depth of 60 meters on 5 August 1979, 4 August 1984, 5 July 1994. This borehole is 100 km apart from the CK114 boreholes that are also described in GGD018 but are not included on the CAPS Version 1.0 CD-ROM.
3. Borehole temperatures at five sites in Fenghuoshan Station area, Qinghai-Xizang (Tibet) Plateau (GGD296):
Data file feng.dat: Borehole Fenghuoshan #1 temperature measured to depth of 35 meters on 31 August 1962, 3 June 1967, 30 August 1980, 30 June 1984, 30 June 1989, 30 June 1994, 15 June 1995.
4. Boreholes at Xidatan-Kunlun Pass area, Qinghai-Xizang (Tibet) Plateau (GGD297):
Data file kunlun.dat: Borehole temperature measured to depth of 17.5 meters on 25 June 1994, 26 September 1995. Approximate location: 35 deg 45 min N, 94 deg 0 min E.
Data file xidatan.dat: Borehole temperature measured to depth of 25 meters with permafrost thickness of about 20 meters, twice on 24 June 1994 and once 26 September 1995. Approximate location: 35 deg 45 min N, 94 deg 0 min E.
Data file xidatan1.dat: Borehole temperature measured to depth of 30 meters on 8 November 1975, 26 April 1976, 3 August 1979, 5 August 1985, 25 August 1989, 24 June 1994, 7 July 1995. Water was found inside the hole during measurement of 7 July 1995. Approximate location: 35 deg 45 min N, 94 deg 0 min E.
