Catalog of Boreholes from Russia and Mongolia

Each individual borehole contains the following entires:

• Number of the borehole
• Coordinates of the borehole
• Altitude of the borehole
• Location (address) of the borehole
• Oil and gas bearing structure or deposit surrounding the borehole
• Morphogenetic type of landscape surrounding the borehole
• Depth of the borehole
• Temperature at a depth of zero
• Thickness of unlithified deposits
• Depth of top and bottom of permafrost
• Method of determination of permafrost thickness
• Source of information

All depths are in meters.

• File: brhcat.dat
• Location: throughout Russia and Mongolia
• Time Period: Varies for each borehole, primarily late 1980's to early 1990's
