Use the menus to choose the Sensor, Hemisphere, and Year. Enter the Day as the sequential day of year. Currently, Sea Ice Extent is the only Image type.

The Single Step buttons move the date ahead or back one day at a time.

The Auto Step controls automatically advance the date forward [Fwd >] or in reverse [Rev <] until you hit [Stop] or the end (or beginning) of the date range.

The Speed buttons control the rate of the auto stepping.

The Loop button causes the auto step to jump back to the start day after the given number of Days. The start day is the day that was being displayed when the button was pushed.

The Rock button causes the auto step to oscillate back and forth over the given number of Days.

To download the image use your browser's Save function (usually a right-click menu option).

It is possible to select an image that doesn't exist. It could be outside the valid date range or missing for some other reason. See the full data set documentation for more information.
