MOD29P1D, MOD29P1N, MYD29E1D, and MOD29E1D Global Attributes

Three EOSDIS Core System (ECS) global attributes are written during generation of the gridded sea ice products, and are stored as long character strings in parameter value language (PVL) format. Product Specific attributes are also generated.

This attribute is used by the HDF-EOS toolkit to specify the mapping relationships between the geolocation data and the snow cover Scientific Data Sets (SDSs).
