This table was updated on 29 September 2011 and reflects Version 3 AMSREL1A data. Users are encouraged to work with Version 3 data since empirical corrections were made to the co-registration parameters A1 and A2, and to the parameter file used for correcting the AMSR-E 89 GHz position information. Header information is still available for users of Version 1 and Version 2 data.
The AMSR-E Level-1A product includes core metadata and product-specific attributes. The following tables show examples of typical metadata fields (Mitsubishi 2000). Some fields, such as ProductionDateTime, will vary among files.
