89-GHz scan spacing

The above figure shows interleaving of A and B scans for the AMSR-E 89-GHz data. A and B scans are collected simultaneously during each sensor sweep. The A and B feed horns are separated by 15 km on the ground. Between sweeps, the satellite moves forward 10 km resulting in a net 5-km spacing for the combined A and B scan data.
