AMSRIce03

The AMSRIce03 campaign, headed by Don Cavalieri, was conducted over a 3 week period in March 2003. Joint ground and aircraft measurements were taken in the Chukchi Sea, Beaufort Sea, and Elson Lagoon. The objectives of the experiment are to compare field, airborne, and satellite data in order to validate and improve existing sea ice retrieval algorithms for the AMSR-E instrument.

The data are restricted to approved investigators and do not yet have documentation. Please continue to check back for data set additions.

To access restricted AMSRIce03 data, you must be an approved investigator and register with NSIDC to obtain the password.
