The AGDC distributes two types of data sets:

• PI Data Sets - These data sets are collected by individual investigators funded by specific grants.
• Compiled Products - These products are assembled from many different PI data sets, published literature, and other sources. The goal is to provide useful compilations of important geophysical parameters, such as accumulation rate or ice velocity.

In addition, the Ice Core Gateway provides a browse and visualization tool for ice core data archived by the AGDC and the World Data Center for Paleoclimatology. Visit the NOAA World Data Center for Paleoclimatology Ice Core Gateway.
