Contribute Bibliographic and Holdings Information

DAHLI invites institutions holding materials from the first, second, and third IPYs (1882-1883, 1932-1933, and 1957-1958) to contribute information about their holdings and bibliographic entries to this site.

DAHLI is especially concerned with unpublished or informally published materials from the IPYs. These materials may include items such as reports, field notebooks, observation logs, station records, journals, photographs, films, letters, educational materials, and many other types. As a first step, we are compiling a directory of institutions holding IPY literature, with notation of the specific IPYs for which they hold materials. This directory will guide researchers to contact the appropriate institutions for searches.
