It set up an electronic bulletin board for exchanging quality information on buoy data. The DBCP Technical Coordinator is typically the point of contact for ensuring data problems are resolved. These data are freely, openly, and fully accessible, provided that you are logged into your NASA Earthdata profile (https://urs.earthdata.nasa.gov/).These data are freely, openly, and fully available to use without restrictions, provided that you cite the data according to the recommended citation at https://nsidc.org/about/use_copyright.html. The IPAB Antarctic Drifting Buoy Data archive, spanning the years 1995 to 1998, includes measurements of buoy position, atmospheric pressure, air temperature, and sea surface temperature. Data are organized by daily and three-hour averages and are provided as raw, instantaneous, non-interpolated data values. Data were collected from buoys initially deployed in the following three study regions: East Antarctica; the Weddell Sea; and the Bellingshausen, Amundsen, and Ross Seas.VIEW RELATED INFORMATIONhttps://doi.org/10.5067/HGLHWEO3764NDocumentationGET DATAhttps://daacdata.apps.nsidc.org/pub/DATASETS/IPAB_BUOYS/HTTPSPROJECT HOME PAGEhttp://nsidc.org/data/docs/daac/nsidc0084_ipab_antarctic_buoys.gd.htmlIPAB Antarctic Drifting Buoy Data DocumentationPROJECT HOME PAGEhttp://nsidc.org/data/seaice/Sea Ice Products at NSIDCUSA/NASACEOS IDN DIFVERSION 9.92001-01-012024-02-26NSIDCVersion SummaryInitial releaseNSIDCMinor VersionNSIDCCurrent Version1NSIDCLevel of ServiceBasicNSIDCFull Dataset CitationAllison, I. 2001. IPAB Antarctic Drifting Buoy Data. [indicate subset used].
