The data set, Ablation rates of Taylor Glacier, Antarctica (NSIDC-0326), is now available through the Antarctic Cryosphere Access Portal (A-CAP). This data set provides glacier surface ablation rates for a network of approximately 250 sites on Taylor Glacier, for the year 2003.
For documentation and source data, click on the information icon (
) next to the data set, or choose query from the map menu and click on a point on the map. To view legend information, click view map legend in the map information menu, located on the bottom left corner of the screen. The legend appears as a pop-up window.

A-CAP is a geo-visualization and data download tool developed at the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) Antarctic Glaciological Data Center (AGDC). A-CAP provides AGDC data and other Antarctic-wide parameters, including glaciology, ice core data, snow accumulation, satellite imagery, Digital Elevation Models (DEM's), sea ice concentration, and many other cryosphere-related scientific measurements.
We welcome your feedback on this project, which is currently in active development. If you have questions, comments or suggestions, please contact the A-CAP Team. A-CAP is developed using MapServer, an open source development environment for building spatially-enabled Internet applications.
