About this job: 

CU Boulder’s Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) welcomes applications for a Data Support Specialist to help the science community discover, access, and utilize data and information from the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC). Data Support Specialists, as part of the NSIDC User Services Office, develop detailed knowledge about the data they support in order to provide excellent service and drive improvements to the user experience. Data Support Specialists are vocal user advocates who enjoy researching user needs, solving user inquiries, and advancing their scientific and technical knowledge in a collaborative environment. The University requires that you have a college degree.
